You must reapply every year for aid. You should receive a renewal application after your first year. Don't forget to renew or you may hinder your academic progress.

VETERANS & MILITARY-CONNECTED STUDENT SERVICES
At Arkansas Northeastern College, it is our privilege to assist veterans in taking advantage of the numerous VA educational opportunities available. Regardless of whether you are a new student, a returning student, or a transferring student, we are here to help you find the resources you need to make the most of your time at ANC.
Veterans of recent military service, and the dependents of certain other service members, may be entitled to educational assistance payments from the Veterans Administration. Reservists and members of the National Guard may also be eligible for monthly educational benefits.
Arkansas Northeastern College is an approved institution for veterans and veterans' beneficiaries training.
GETTING STARTED WITH VA EDUCATION BENEFITS
1. Apply for VA Education Benefits
Eligible students can apply for benefits through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Common programs include:

Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33)

Montgomery GI Bill® - Active Duty (Chapter 30)

Montgomery GI Bill® - Selected Reserve (Chapter 1606)

Dependents' Education Assistance (Chapter 35)

After applying, the VA will mail you a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) — you will need to submit this to our office.
2. Submit Required Documents to the College
To begin receiving benefits at Arkansas Northeastern College, please submit:

Certificate of Eligibility (COE)

DD-214 (if applicable)

Military Transcripts Joint Services Transcript

Enrollment Certification Request Form (provided by our office)
You may email, upload, or deliver documents in person.
3. Enrollment Certification
Once registered for courses, we will certify your enrollment with the VA. Certification is required each semester and applies only to courses that count toward your declared program of study.
Please notify our office if you:

Change your major or program

Add/drop/withdraw from classes

Repeat a course

Change your address or VA education benefit program
