  • Conducts a variety of risk/need assessments

  • Completes various forms & obtain documents for transitions into employment

  • Assists with training for education and employment

  • Acts as liaison for clients and other related community partners

  • Provides life-coaching

  • Provides other internal and external resources that ANC offers

 

What is ADWORC?

ADWORC (Arkansas Delta Workforce Opportunities for Rural Communities) is designed to increase the labor force by preparing and training job seekers, including those with significant barriers and/or hard to serve, new entrants in the workforce, particularly for those impoverished and formerly incarcerated, as well as dislocated workers, for positions that are considered in-demand in their target industries

  • Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP)

  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

  • Participant in Career Pathways Initiative program (CPI)

  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

  • Any state or local income based public assistance

  • Formerly incarcerated

  • Veterans

  • Disabled

  • Dislocated worker

 

Training

  • Construction Technology

  • W.O.R.K. Program

  • Manufacturing/Steel Industry Technology

  • GED (Non-Credit)

  • Health Care

 

Benefits

Completing the ADWORC program will provide disadvantaged individuals and households with a direct avenue to a better quality of life through training, education and employment.  The ADWORC initiative is specifically geared toward hard-to-serve constituents, specifically low-income new entrants to the workforce and formerly incarcerated individuals to prepare for and enter high-demand employment.

 

ADWORC Case Manager

Works directly in the community to assist prospects in utilizing the training and services available to find employment while providing opportunities to those who are in hard-to-reach populations.
