Remember: It is always important to check with your physician before beginning any cardio or strength-training workout!

 

Exercise Room Availability

If you're gonna utilize the Exercise room, you need to know when it's being used.  We've provided a reserved schedule for this room.  Please plan accordingly.

 

Facilities

The Briggs/Sebaugh Wellness Center offers top-notch facilities.  These facilities are not only used as tools for credit courses and Community Education classes, but also to better assist you in reaching your health goals and improving your overall well-being. 

 

If you're interested in taking non-credit courses through Community Education (aerobics, yoga, pilates, zumba, taekwondo, etc.), you can visit that page and contact them to enroll.

 

If you are not a current student or ANC faculty/staff member, you can utilize these facilities through the purchase of a Community Facilities Card.

 

Facilities Include...

 

Exercise Room

The exercise room features state-of-the-art Nautilus strength training machines.  It also features a great  cardiovascular area that includes (4) treadmills, (2) ellipticals and (2) StairMaster exercise bikes.  The exercise room is also equipped with a television and Sirius satellite radio.

Gymnasium

The gymnasium includes (2) basketball courts and a volleyball court.

 

Indoor Walking/Jogging Track

Located on the second floor of the Wellness Center overlooking the gymnasium floor, is the indoor walking/jogging track. 

 

14 laps around the track = 1 mile
