SCHOLARSHIPS / AUDITION INFO

Our department provides musical opportunities through private instruction, classroom instruction, and performance. The cost for these classes, along with other classes taken at ANC, can be supplemented by Performing Arts Scholarships awarded each semester. These scholarships are service award tuition waivers and can be earned through participation in one or more of our choral ensembles.

Scholarships will be awarded using the following guidelines:

The student must enroll in at least 6 hours of credit.
The student must maintain a 2.5 GPA and maintain regular attendance in classes.
Recipients must participate in performing ensembles.
The majority of the waivers will be awarded to students with in-county status.
Students who are eligible for other financial aid, including PELL grant, ANC scholarships, and other sources of financial aid will be considered for a waiver of tuition and fees for music courses only.
Full-time scholarships will only be considered for those students with no other source of financial assistance and will be for the amount of in-county tuition.
The waivers will be offered on a semester basis and will be reviewed at the end of each semester according to the above criteria.
In order to be eligible for renewal, the student must maintain satisfactory academic progress for financial aid recipients as stipulated in the ANC catalog.
