At ANC, we have four different choirs available to students and community members alike.  Each ensemble features a unique configuration of voices and offers an exciting opportunity for singers of all levels!

ANC Concert Singers

The Arkansas Northeastern College Concert Singers is an SATB non-auditioned choir with an established reputation for outstanding choral performance throughout the region. Concert Singers currently accepts between 25-35 singers and serves as the student touring ensemble at the college.

Women's Chorale -
Mondays/Wednesdays - 10:50am-12:05pm


ANC's Women's Chorale is designed to provide an elite ensemble experience specialized to meet the needs of our rapidly growing population of female singers. Both students and community members are encouraged to audition for this select, exciting treble ensemble

Chamber Chorale -
Thursdays - 6:00-7:00pm


This smaller, elite ensemble is dedicated to the performance of traditional vocal chamber music with an emphasis on a cappella literature.

community choir
Community Choir -
Thursdays - 7:00-9:00pm


As the largest vocal ensemble on campus, Community Choir draws singers from throughout Northeast Arkansas and the Missouri boot heel.  This ensemble is open to all singers high school age and older.

Opera Workshop -
Fridays - 10am-12pm


Opera Workshop is an elite group of 8-20 singers that represents the college in an operatic performance during the fall and/or spring semesters.  The fundamental purpose of Opera Workshop is the study and performance of opera.  Students audition for and are chosen to sing specific operatic roles and/or scenes each academic year.  Those scenes are rehearsed and staged throughout the semester, then performed for a public audience.  In addition, students prepare and perform operatically centered educational programs in elementary and/or middle and high schools in the greater ANC service area.
