Associate in Arts Degree - Emphasis in Teaching
This two-year Associate in Arts Degree with an emphasis in Teaching is designed
for the student who is interested in transferring to a senior institution and
completing a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at one of three levels:
Pre-School through fourth grade, Midlevel Math and Science, and Midlevel Arts,
Language, and Social Studies. This program combines a broad background of
courses in elementary education with a concentration in specific areas of
emphasis in addition to a sound liberal arts education.
