Welcome to the Web Page of Arkansas Northeastern College Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Programs.
The Technical Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician- Paramedic
(EMT-P) is awarded upon successful completion of a 12 month Paramedic
program.
The Certificate of Proficiency in Emergency Medical Technician
(EMT) basic course is awarded upon successful completion of the one
semester EMT course.
Arkansas Northeastern College is committed to providing students the
opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to
successfully pass the certifications exams offered by the National
Registry of Emergency Medical Technician.
The EMT basic course and the EMT-Paramedic program are offered
at the ANC Burdette and Paragould Campuses and are accredited by the
Arkansas Department of Health, Section of Emergency Medical Services and
Trauma Systems. The
Paramedic program is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of
Educational Programs for the EMS Professions.
Admission to the EMT course
and the Paramedic program is open to all students meeting admission
criteria:
