Study Leaders and Coaches
Hello! My name is Shelby Brennan.
I am a first year nursing student at ANC and originally from the
great state of Michigan. I love adventure and the
outdoors! I am a Study Leader for Anatomy and Physiology I
& II, as well as Math for Allied Health.
Cody Hogan is a gamer geek originally
from the Southern California desert area. He is a commoner
of small town living and will journey all the way from
Leachville to help you learn anything from the Computer
Information Systems degree plan. Cody is a Study Leader
with experience who has been helping his fellow ANC students for
over a year.
I am Justin Lambert, a nursing major, at
ANC. I am a Study Leader for Anatomy and Physiology I and
II. I plan on continuing my education beyond ANC as I grow
within the nursing field. I have lived in the
northeast Arkansas region my entire life. I am the father
of 2 beautiful girls and husband of a wonderful wife of 9 years.
My wife and I both value the growth and prosperity of the
Blytheville area and try to contribute as much as we can to our
local businesses. We both have attended ANC and this
college is a great part of this community. I'm proud to be
a part of ANC and to help other students that share an interest
in learning A&P.
I am Alexis Smith. I am a Study
Leader for Anatomy & Physiology I and II. I attended the
University of Arkansas in Fayetteville from 2011-2013 before
transferring to ANC. I decided to transfer to ANC to get
my grade point average up and to finish my pre-requisites.
After the fall semester, I plan to transfer to Arkansas State
University and apply to the pre-communication disorders program.
If and when I do get accepted, I plan to further my education
even more by working towards a Master's degree in speech
pathology and audiology.
My name is Casey Southard. I was
born and raised in Paragould. I graduated from ANC in 2014
with my LPN Certification. I have one child and have been
able to use funding from Career Pathways for most of my
schooling. I am in my first semester of the RN program.
I am the Study Leader for the Body Structure and Function class,
as well as Anatomy and Physiology I on the Paragould campus.
Willie D. Williams, Jr.
Hi, my name is Willie D. Williams, Jr.
I am a 38 year old full-time college student at ANC. I am
happily married with 4 beautiful children. I am currently
working on my AA degree and my major is Sociology. I am an
ANC Success Coach for the mentoring program. I have a
great passion for helping people to succeed in life. My
hobbies are reading, watching nature shows and going on trips
with my family. I always try to lead by example and
believe everyone desires a second chance for success.
Howdy! I'm Rhoda Yost from the
great state of Texas. I love math, science, and reading
and grow more curious every semester. After the completion
of home-schooling of our five children, I have returned to
school so I can help other people. I am a Study Leader for
Physical Science. If I can do this at age 59, you can do
it wherever you are!
