WHAT IS ADULT EDUCATION? |

 

Adult Education provides instruction in basic skills and prepares students for the official GED test by the State of Arkansas for certification of high school equivalency.  GED instruction is provided at a variety of locations in Mississippi and Greene counties.

 

Arkansas Northeastern College's Adult Education Centers are committed to empowering adult learners through improving their basic literacy skills so that they can achieve their personal goals and can become more productive members of society.

 

 

Goals of Adult Education

Assisting adults to become literate and obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and self-sufficiency, and assisting adults in the completion of a secondary school education.  Adult Education also offers classes to assist students in job search techniques and English as a second language.
