The division of Technical Programs and Training offers two Associate of Applied Science degrees, one in Business Technology and the other in Applied Technology.  Each degree has different options to meet students' interests.  The Business Technology degree plan includes areas of emphasis in business administration, computer information systems, and office technology; while the Applied Technology degree plan includes criminal justice; industrial management systems, industrial technology, steel industry technology; and horticulture, landscaping, and nursery operations.

In addition to providing traditional degree programs, the division also serves the training needs of business and industry by offering courses in a format that addresses the needs of individual employers.  From on-site training to credit courses to complete two-year degrees, the division strives to promote lifelong learning opportunities.  All specialized offerings are designed in consultation with employers.
