Educational Travel Opportunities
Travel is an important
cultural and learning tool. ANC TOURS, a Division
of the Department of Continuing and Community Education,
offers both domestic and international group trips to
destinations of unusual interest and beauty. These
trips are carefully planned for dollar value and are
open to all area residents and their friends.
Arkansas Northeastern
College invites you to take advantage of these
opportunities to broaden cultural experiences by travel.
For information about the trips before they are
publicized in the newspapers, please call our office at
870.762.3168, and we will gladly send you our current
travel newsletter.
Some of the exciting travel
destinations have been Europe, New York City, Hawaii,
New England, Mackinaw Island, Michigan, Holly Springs
Pilgrimage, Texas Hill Country, and Broadway plays in
St. Louis. Special events in Memphis attract
groups from ANC TOURS for taking advantage of cultural
opportunities closer to home. Information about
the trips is in area newspapers when the planning is
completed.
Schedules
of Classes
Schedules of non-credit
courses are published three times a year -- January,
May, and August. The schedules are readily
available in area newspapers, libraries and through the
Continuing and Community Education office which is
located in the Adams/Vines Building on the ANC main
campus in Blytheville.
Rewards
The Continuing and
Community Education courses and trips are a sure cure
for the doldrums, an excellent way to keep your mind
young and alert and your spirits high, a way to stay in
step with the world around you and enrich your life
tremendously.
The cost is low, the
returns high!
